Hi All!

It's me again! This time I have a fabulous Frou-Frou to share with you, she'll be available in the Greeting Farm store January 1st!

Call me Farmer Jodi

Hi All!

Now I bet you're wondering why I'm now a farmer. Yes, I DO live in the country and yes, there IS a big 'ol field behind my house - however I am NOT that kind of Farmer. Wait for it.....

I am now a proud member of the Farm - The Greeting Farm! (I'm doing my happy dance - you just can't see it!) I can't express how excited I am to finally be on the design team. Greeting Farm stamps are the first set of stamps I ever bought when I started using Copic markers and Miss Anya was the first set I purchased. It's been Beans, Anya, and Creepers ever since. To top it off, over the next few days I'll some some previews of the new stamps that will be available at the Greeting Farm starting January 1st.

First up is Miss Anya Night Out....

She's just one of 3 in the set! Make sure you stop by the Greeting Farm blog and check out the companion designs and the other new farmer's designs! They're all just gorgeous - like Anya!

Now make sure you pop on by Monday - I'll have another fab preview for you!

Until Next Time!

Girl on Fire

Hi All!

Holy cow! (I say that waaaaay too much lately!) I have moved on to the Facebook/PCP group at Sassy Studios for the next couple of months. A few things first - PCP (Paper Crafts Planet) is going bye, bye so we're moving our happy little group to Facebook! You should be able to get to it here at our facebook group (make sure you become a member so you can participate!) https://www.facebook.com/groups/258002824294410/. Now we'll still have a theme as well as a freebie - our challenge this month starts today and will end January 14th - loads of time for you to create something fabulous. Our Facebook page will have more info on how and what to do - good luck!

So, now on with our show! This month's theme is show us your folds - admittedly this is probably not the most fancy of folds, but it's one I can do fairly easy - I just got me a MS scoring board and haven't had a lot of time to check out some groovy folding to try, but the board is the first step so stay tuned. Our image is Katniss - Girl On Fire. I've always loved this image and this has become the perfect birthday card for my niece, although my daughter is slowing getting into the Hunger Games. At any rate I present - Girl on Fire...

I created a gate fold card and colored Katniss with Copic Markers. The background is a fire embossing folder by Darice that I inked with various Powder Puff inks. The sparkles are by Prima.

So I hope you'll join us for our new little venture on Facebook and I look forward to seeing what you create!
I'd also like to enter her in the following challenges:
Stamping for the Weekend - Use some red
4 Crafty Girls - Anything goes
C.R.A.F.T. Challenge - Favorite Film/Inspired by a Movie/TV/Song
Digi Stamps For Joy - Anything goes

 Until Next Time!

Unconventional Christmas

Hi All!

Holy cow this month is just flying by! Sorry I didn't have anything last week, I had a project come up unexpectedly and I ran out of time. At any rate it's already Thursday again and time for another edition of Dare to be Sassy Thursday! This week's challenge is to use conventional colors for a Christmas design - no red or green allowed. I love the idea! I chose hot pink, purple and bright blue - I love those colors on a Christmas tree.

I used Santa Pin-up from Sassy Studio Designs and a lot of RV Copic! lol

Now it's your turn - create a fabulous design for Christmas without using red or green. And don't forget to use a sassy! Make sure you add your link on the Dare to be Sassy Thursday blog post for a chance to win.

Happy Halloween!

Hi All!

Well, it's Halloween today - Trick-or-Treat is supposed to be tonight, but I don't know. They're calling for rain, storms and nasty winds. Bummer, maybe it will just be post-poned. Ya know what's not post-poned?

Dare To Be Sassy Thursday!!!!!

Our challenge this week is....can you guess? No fair looking farther down the page....

Halloween! And who better to use but Elvira, Mistress of the Dark...

I used C1, BV000, BV01, BV02 for the skin tones, her dress is C5, C7, C9, her lips are BV08 and her hair is B24, C7 and C9. The print paper is by We R Memory Keepers. There's actually a hand poking up out of the ground there my the grave stone....The "Wicked Halloween" sentiment is by Close To My Heart.

Welcome to the weekend! This week seems to have flown by. I want to give a quick Holla! to my friend Krista - Hey girl! Our girls' elementary school had a sub sale - they sold 5800 so we had a lot of work to do. Unfortunately, I could only help on Thursday, but chicka's got it goin on, so I'm sure everything went well. That's why she's the prez. So holla and thanks!

Okay, now on to buziness! It's Sassy Studio Designs new release day! Lindsay has cooked up some gorgeous images for us once again. Make sure you cruze by the rest of the design team and leave some love.

So, not only is it a new release, but it's a challenge a BINGO challenge. I got to use Catwoman for my image and my bingo is bling, ribbon, purple, bones and of course the free spot. Can you guess what I colored her with....

Here's the bingo card if you'd like to play along:

Make it Yours

Hi All!

It's Thursday! It's daring! It's sassy! It's Dare To Be Sassy Thursday! Woot! Woot!

This week's challenge is to "make it your own", meaning take a past Dare To Be Sassy Challenge and make it your own. Mine is from not too awful long ago - "Fall Colors". Sorry, but I can't pass up Fall projects - it's my favorite time of year. I used Scarecrow Sassy from the Wizard of Oz Collection.

She's so very fall appropriate. The print papers as well as the cardstock for the leaves is by DCWV, the card base is by Hampton Art and of course, she's colored with Copics. I love the little extra pop the blue gives.

Check out the Sassy Studio blog and add your creation for a chance to win a prize. Speaking of the Sassy site, Saturday we'll be having a new release party! Just wait til you see the fab designs Lindsay has been cookin up! Make sure you join all the fun with the hop and release - you could be a winnah!

Go Bolts!

Hi All!

It's Dare To Be Sassy Thursday! Our theme this week is "Support Your Team", meaning make something brilliant using your team's colors and or course a Sassy Studio Designs. I used the new Powder Puff Sassy (without her zombie make-up this time lol). This was a great week to do this project - our school district just had their Homecoming, prefect timing.

We're the Northmont Thunder Bolts, our colors are green, white and gold. There's a great company out of Columbus called Dare 2 be Artzy that created custom school designs for our school and a few others and made them available at Scrap 'N Friends. I've been looking for an excuse to use them. This was created with a great new shaped card by Hampton Art, colored with Copics and I even drug out some Close To My Heart inks to stamp the "Go Bolts" and the "N".

Make sure to stop by the Sassy Studio Designs blog and check out the other fun creations by my sassy bro and sistahs!

1, 2, 3...

Hi All!

Guess what day it is? Go on, guess. No it's not hump day - it's Dare To Be Sassy Thursday! Our challenge this week is 1, 2, 3, 1 piece of lace, 2 sparkles or some sort and 3 print papers. That's a lot - at least for me, but I did it. I used the new Jessica Rabbit image from the Fabulous 80's collection.

The background is actually foil embossed lips from the "Rock Star" stack by DCWV. They were pink but I colored them red with my Copics to match her outfit better. She has sparkly eyeshadow and sparkly shoes too. The print papers are by Basic Grey.

Stop by Sassy Studios Designs and check out the inspiration from the other guy and gals on the design team as well as all the fabulous new designs!

Until Next Time,

Anyway, I have an adorable new design my Scrapper's Delights to share with you and it's available at Whimsy Stamps only - it's Halloween Anna Mae! I just love her. To show her off better I did a "clean and simple card - no fancy die cuts and paper, just her so I could concentrate on coloring, my favorite!

She is too cute to spook!

Check her and all of the other terrific Scrapper's Delights designs available exclusively at Whimsy Stamps. You won't be sorry!

Out For A Bite

Hi All!

We've got a great new Halloween release going on - starting today at Sassy Studio Designs! Our theme is of course - anything goes with Halloween. I used Powder Puff Sassy. I thought being that it's a Halloween theme that I'd zombie-fy my image. She's the prettiest zombie you ever did see LOL!

I colored her with Copics using a lot of different grays - warm and cool. I went over her skin with G00 to help her look more zombie. I also colored some Tim Holtz washi tape.

Now it's your turn to join in the fun! Make sure you check out all the great new designs and leave some blog love. A winner will be chosen from the comments. Enjoy!

Autumn ATC

Hi All!

I've got a cute little quick project for ya today. Have I mentioned how much I like ATC (for those of you that don't know, they're artist trading cards.)? I love looking at them, cute little works of art. I don't do them nearly as often as I could. They're very versatile as well. You can make up a little ATC and add it to an A2 and voila! you have a gorgeous little card you didn't have to work too hard to make. Ans since I have my fabulous little envie maker, I could make one just the right size for it and leave it as is.

I did this one for the ATC's With Attitude challenge using Scarecrow Sassy by Sassy Studio Designs:

She's colored with Copics, the ATC base is inked with Close To My Heart Autumn Terra Cotta, the leaves are also by Close To My Heart and the Autumn sticker is by Tim Holtz. I sprayed the base card with bronze Perfect Pearls and inked it with the Autumn Terra Cotta color.

But you already knew that didn't you?

Hi All!

Hope everyone has been enjoying some slightly early fall weather - it's been just gorgeous here in Ohio. Makes it really easy to make fun fall things. Hmmmm, like Halloween cards and the like. Scrapper's Delights is releasing a new set of beautiful Halloween digis (at least I consider them Halloween). This is Bat Woman (makes ya wanna sing the "Batman" theme song huh?

I colored her with BV Copics and gave her YR eyes. I love the little skull cameo too, it's by Joliees.

She and her new friends are all available at Scrapper's Delights! Check out the other fabulous designs available!

Recipe Challenge

Hi All!

Today Sassy Studio Designs is sponsoring Creative Knockouts which used to be Dutch Dare.  And they have a recipe for you to follow:  1 image, 1 sentiment, 2 papers, 3 embellishments.

Now, I have to say I made this card an odd size - 5x6. Why because I can AND I have the WR Memory Keepers envelope maker! I LOVE this new toy. I never thought I'd say making envelopes is fun but - IT IS! My Birthday Sassy is colored with Copics (in a friend's favorite colors...Shhhhhhhhhh), the patterned papers are by Recollections, pearls on her boots are by Queen and Co - so is her diamond earring. The pearl/rhinestone combo flourishes are by Prima.

A Patriotic Thanks

Hi All!

Long time, no blog! I know, I know, I said I was going to be on here more. I've got everything under control now (ha, ha, ha - I'm rolling on the floor with laughter). Anyway, I have a great couple of challenges for you and they're sponsored by Sassy Studio Designs.

First is a sketch challenge for...you got it Feeling Sketchy - here's the sketch...(there's a joke in there about the challenge number, but I will be a grown up. LOL)

Have I said how much I like sketch challenges? It helps to not have to think so hard sometimes. :-) The combined challenge is with Love to Create - "Thank you/Patriotic" A thank you card for our service men and women. I think I covered all the bases with this one:

My apologies as well, I was supposed to have this up earlier, but I had it stuck in my head that it went up tomorrow. Ugh! At any rate I used Sassy Rainbow Bright, I decided she could be totally patriotic. Actually, I can't seem to get "Inter Planet Janet" out of my head.  She part of the Fabulous 80's release.

Now it's your turn to join in! Use your Sassy Designs and get in on the challenges!

I'd also like to enter this in the following challenges:
Love to Create - Patriotic Thanks
Feeling Sketchy - Sketch
Alphabet Challenge - One word sentiment

Until Next Time!
